How to Make Strawberry Crunch Cake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously prepare your cake pans with baking spray or parchment paper to ensure your cake layers come out clean and easy to handle.
  2. Mix the strawberry and vanilla cake batters in separate bowls until smooth. Don’t forget to add the strawberry gelatin powder to the strawberry batter, which will amp up the fruity flavor and color!
  3. Bake the cake layers for 22–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Once done, let them cool completely on a wire rack, setting the stage for frosting!
  4. Beat together the softened butter and cream cheese until fluffy, then gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and strawberry powder, mixing until creamy and delightful—perfect for slathering on your cake layers.
  5. Pulse the Golden Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor until fine. Combine them with the melted butter and gelatin powder, creating a delicious, crunchy topping to give your cake that extra wow factor.
  6. Assemble the cake by layering the frosted cake layers and generously press the crunchy Oreo topping onto the sides and top of the cake, creating a stunning visual and textural masterpiece that’s hard to resist!
