  • 1 jalapeño, minced adjust for spiciness; remove seeds for less heat.
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped brightens with fresh herbal notes.
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice, fresh enhances flavors and adds zest.
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt enhances overall flavor; adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine fresh ingredients in a bowl by mixing the diced pineapple and mango together in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the onion, jalapeño, and cilantro; gently fold in the finely chopped red onion, minced jalapeño, and fresh cilantro.
  3. Stir in lime juice and salt; squeeze in the fresh lime juice and sprinkle the salt evenly.
  4. Toss gently and chill before serving; use a spatula to toss the mixture and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
