  • 1 lb Ground beef or ground turkey for a lighter version
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs panko for extra crunch
  • ½ cup Milk or any non-dairy option
  • 1 large Egg or flaxseed meal for a vegan alternative
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan cheese or try pecorino for a bolder taste
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) fresh gives the best flavor
  • 1 small Onion (finely minced or grated) or shallots for milder flavor
  • ¼ cup Fresh parsley (chopped) or basil as substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust according to dietary needs
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper or crushed red pepper flakes for extra spice
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil (for brushing) or coconut oil

How to Make Oven Baked Meatballs
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and milk and let them soak for a few minutes.
  3. Add ground beef, egg, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, onion, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper to the soaked breadcrumbs. Gently mix everything until just combined.
  4. Roll the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Lightly brush the tops of the meatballs with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until fully cooked and golden brown. Let rest briefly before serving.
