How to Make Homemade Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta
  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil a pot of salted water and cook the pasta until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water for later.
  2. Sear the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with half of the Cajun seasoning. In a skillet, heat olive oil and add the chicken. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add sliced red and green bell peppers. Sauté with minced garlic for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Prepare the Sauce: Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
  5. Make It Creamy: Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth. Adjust seasoning with remaining Cajun spice.
  6. Combine Everything: Toss cooked pasta and sliced chicken into the sauce, mixing well. Add reserved pasta water if needed for desired creaminess.
