For the Hibiscus Tea
  • 4 cups Water the base for infusing the hibiscus flavor
  • 0.5 cup Dried hibiscus flowers responsible for that vibrant red color and tartness
For the Lemonade Mix
  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries hulled
  • 0.75 cup Fresh lemon juice a zesty kick that brightens up the beverage
  • 0.5 cup Sugar or honey adjust to taste for the perfect sweetness balance
For Serving
  • 2 cups Ice to chill your Hibiscus Tea Strawberry Lemonade

Method
 

How to Make Hibiscus Tea Strawberry Lemonade
  1. In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.
  2. Remove the pot from heat and add in 0.5 cup of dried hibiscus flowers. Let it steep for 10–12 minutes.
  3. Once steeped, strain the hibiscus tea into a bowl or pitcher. Ensure it cools completely.
  4. While the tea cools, blend 2 cups of hulled fresh strawberries until smooth.
  5. In a large pitcher, combine your cooled hibiscus tea, strawberry puree, 0.75 cup of fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 cup of sugar or honey. Stir well.
  6. Taste your honey or sugar lemonade and adjust sweetness if desired.
  7. Put your pitcher in the refrigerator to chill. Serve over 2 cups of ice.

Notes
