How to Make Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta
  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil water in a large pot and cook the pasta according to package directions. Reserve about a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season and Cook Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet, sauté chicken until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
  3. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Don't let it burn.
  4. Make the Sauce: Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer while stirring.
  5. Stir in Parmesan: Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat, using reserved pasta water to achieve desired creaminess.
  7. Finish with Chicken: Return sliced chicken to the skillet, toss gently to combine, season with salt and pepper. Serve warm.
