Cooking Steps
  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil water in a large pot and cook the pasta according to package directions. Reserve about a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season and Cook Chicken: Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet, sauté chicken until golden, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
  3. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Avoid burning.
  4. Make the Sauce: Add chicken broth and heavy cream to the skillet. Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in Parmesan: Gradually whisk in grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  6. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add drained pasta to skillet, toss to coat, using reserved pasta water for desired creaminess.
  7. Finish with Chicken: Return sliced chicken to skillet, toss gently and season with salt and pepper. Serve warm.
