How to Make Easy Homemade Brownies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk the melted butter together with granulated sugar and brown sugar until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract into the bowl, whisking until the mixture becomes glossy and slightly thicker.
  4. Fold in the unsweetened cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and salt until just combined.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips if you’re using them.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Cool the brownies in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
