  • 2 tablespoons Instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1.5 cups Warm water (110°F / 43°C)
  • 0.25 cups Olive oil Plus extra for drizzling

  • 2 tablespoons Fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse sea salt

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Pour in the warm water and olive oil. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1–2 hours.
  4. Grease a 9x13 inch pan with olive oil and gently transfer the rising dough into it.
  5. Dimple the dough to create little pockets, drizzle olive oil on top, and sprinkle with rosemary and salt.
  6. Cover the pan again and let the dough rise for another 20–30 minutes.
  7. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake the focaccia for 20–25 minutes.
  8. Allow it to cool slightly before cutting into slices.
