  • 8 oz lump crab meat fresh
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 egg large
  • 2 stalks green onions chopped
Coating
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

Making Crab Crunchies
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, egg, Old Bay seasoning, and chopped green onions. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold the lump crab meat into the cream cheese mixture, keeping crab chunks intact.
  3. Form the crab mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F or heat oil in a frying pan. Bake or fry until golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
