Marinade
  • 2 lb chicken thighs skinless and boneless
  • 0.75 cup plain yogurt adds creaminess
  • 0.25 cup olive oil enhances flavor
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon lemon zest and juice
Spice Blend
  • 2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1.5 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation
  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl, whisk until smooth and well blended.
  2. Marinate the chicken thighs in the marinade for at least 2 hours.

  4. Rest the chicken for a few minutes on a cutting board, then slice thinly.
  5. Serve the chicken hot with warm pita, fresh vegetables, and your favorite sauces.
