How to Make Chai Spiced Coconut Milk
  1. In a saucepan, gently warm 2 cups of full-fat coconut milk and 0.5 cup of water over medium heat until it starts to steam.
  2. Add the cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, grated ginger, and black pepper. Simmer gently for 8–10 minutes.
  3. If desired, drop in a tea bag and steep for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in 1–2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey to sweeten.
  5. Strain into mugs and serve warm, optionally topping with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
