How to Make Chai Spiced Coconut Milk
- In a saucepan, gently warm 2 cups of full-fat coconut milk and 0.5 cup of water over medium heat until it starts to steam.
- Add the cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, grated ginger, and black pepper. Simmer gently for 8–10 minutes.
- If desired, drop in a tea bag and steep for 3–4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in 1–2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey to sweeten.
- Strain into mugs and serve warm, optionally topping with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
