Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, until the beef is browned and onions are softened.
  3. Drain any excess fat and stir in taco seasoning and salsa, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Arrange the hard taco shells upright in a baking dish.
  5. Fill each shell generously with the beef mixture.
  6. Top the filled taco shells with a generous amount of shredded cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the shells are crisp.
  8. Remove from the oven, let rest for a minute, and serve warm.
