Directions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until it’s fully cooked. Drain the excess fat.
- Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic in the same skillet until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Combine the cooked beef with tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and frozen mixed vegetables. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Spread the filling mixture into your greased baking dish, then top it with the prepared mashed potatoes. Dot with butter and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
