  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk for the filling
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
For the Biscuit Topping
  • 1 package cheddar bay biscuit mix
  • 0.5 cup milk for the biscuit topping
  • 0.25 cup butter melted
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Layer the cooked chicken and frozen mixed vegetables in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the cream of chicken soup and 1 cup of milk until smooth, then pour it evenly over the chicken and veggies.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the filling.
  5. Mix the biscuit topping ingredients just until combined.
  6. Spoon the topping over the chicken filling and drizzle with melted butter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40–45 minutes until the top is golden and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Rest for 10 minutes before serving.
