For the Sandwich
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 ripe avocado avocado
  • 4 slices cheese your favorite type
  • 4 slices bread for a crunchy exterior
  • 1 ripe tomato tomato
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter for brushing
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

How to Make Chicken Avocado Melt Sandwich
  1. Brush one side of each slice of bread with olive oil or butter.
  2. Layer the cooked chicken, sliced avocado, tomato, and cheese onto the unbuttered sides of two bread slices.
  3. Close the sandwiches with the remaining slices of bread.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat, then place the sandwiches in the pan. Cook until the bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and slice in half to serve warm.
